If there is one easy, tasty dipping sauce you want in your recipe repertoire, it is this amazing Avocado Crema (avocado cream sauce). This sauce takes just five minutes to whip together in your blender and has the most silky smooth texture and the most vibrant green color. It is absolute creamy heavenly deliciousness!
This Avocado Crema is the most perfect blend of mayo, sour cream, avocado, dry ranch mix, lime and cilantro. It is a beautiful dipping sauce for something like my favorite Southwestern Egg Rolls, or the perfect accompaniment for these Chicken Fajitas, Carne Asada, or Chimichangas. But it’s also fantastic for dipping plain veggies, quesadillas, or just chips with Pico de Gallo! It honestly doesn’t matter what you dip in it, you are going to love it.
A couple of tips for this recipe:
- I like to mix the sauce early and leave it in the refrigerator for at least an hour or two to let the flavors develop and meld together.
- If you want to turn this crema into a dressing, just add some extra milk until the desired consistency!
- Store the sauce in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days. It doesn’t turn an icky color green thanks to the lime juice!
