Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise not miracle whip
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • 1/3 cup fresh avocado (about half an avocado)
  • 2 Tbsp Hidden Valley Dry Ranch Dressing mix (1 envelope or measure from large container.)
  • 1 Tbsp freshly chopped cilantro
  • Juice of 1 small lime (about 2 Tbsp)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine the mayo, sour cream, milk, avocado, dry ranch dressing mix, cilantro, lime juice, salt and pepper.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down between as needed.  Store in refrigerator until ready to serve, at least an hour or two!

Notes

A couple of tips for this recipe:
  • I like to mix the sauce early and leave it in the refrigerator for at least an hour or two to let the flavors develop and meld together.
  • If you want to turn this crema into a dressing, just add some extra milk until the desired consistency!
  • Store the sauce in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days.  It doesn't turn an icky color green thanks to the lime juice!
