Once the brownies are baked and the marshmallows get that perfect golden toast, everything melts together into a soft, chocolatey, graham‑cracker‑crunchy masterpiece. It’s nostalgic, a little messy in the best way, and meant to be scooped straight from the pan while it’s still warm and gooey. Whether you’re hosting friends or just craving a cozy winter treat, this fudgy S’mores Brownie Bake is the kind of dessert that turns an ordinary evening into something special.

Why You’ll Love This Fudgy S’mores Brownie Bake Recipe:

  • Fast + fuss‑free — uses a boxed brownie mix and pantry staples.
  • Crowd‑pleasing — the classic s’mores combo never fails.
  • Winter‑cozy — broiled marshmallows give that fireside feel without stepping outside.
  • Serve straight from the pan — gooey, dramatic, and fun.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box brownie mix ((I used the 20z Hershey’s Triple Chocolate Brownie Mix)
  • Ingredients needed to prepare the brownie mix (eggs/oil)
  • 1 (10 oz) bag large marshmallows
  • 1 large chocolate bar (I used an XL Symphony Bar with toffee bits – 4.25oz)
  • 8 graham crackers

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a pie pan or 9‑inch cake pan with nonstick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, prepare brownie batter per package directions and scrape into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake 20–22 minutes, until a wooden pick comes out with moist crumbs.
  4. Switch oven to broil.
  5. Cover the brownie with large marshmallows and broil 1½–2 minutes, until golden and puffy. Keep the door cracked and watch closely so they don’t burn.
  6. Crush half the graham crackers and sprinkle over the marshmallows. Break the rest into pieces and press into the top.
  7. Cut the chocolate bar into chunks and nestle into the warm marshmallows.
  8. Serve immediately while warm and gooey.

Fudgy S’mores Brownie Bake FAQ’s:

Can I use mini marshmallows instead of large ones?
Yes — just scatter them evenly over the brownie. They toast faster, so watch closely under the broiler.

Can I make this ahead of time?
This fudgy s’mores brownie bake is best served immediately, but you can bake the brownie layer ahead and add the toppings right before serving.

What kind of chocolate works best?
A classic milk chocolate bar gives the most nostalgic s’mores flavor, but I used an XL Symphony Bar with toffee bits!  Dark chocolate or chocolate chunks work too.

Can I make this in a different pan?
Yes — a pie pan, 8×8, or 9‑inch cake pan all work. Just keep an eye on bake time.

How do I reheat leftovers?
Broil for 20–30 seconds to re‑toast the marshmallows and soften the chocolate.
