Words cannot express how sad I was when both of the Fuddruckers closed down in Utah. My all time favorite hamburger place is now no-where to be found in the state we live in. Every time we visit California the first thing we do is look up where the nearest Fuddruckers is and we eat there at least two or three times, so it seemed natural to try and replicate the taste of these burgers at home.
If you are grilling burgers you will definitely want to whip up some of this magical burger seasoning to sprinkle over the top before grilling. It’s the perfect blend of savory smokiness with just a touch of sweet. Once you have used it you will wonder how you ever got along without it!
These insanely flavorful grilled burgers served up on brioche buns with melted cheese and all our favorite fresh toppings are the closest replication of our most favorite hamburgers in the world. Hubby and I both agreed that we would definitely prefer to make these over going to ANY burger place we have been to in Utah!
Ingredients:
- 4 Tbsp smoked paprika
- 3 Tbsp ground black pepper
- 2-1/2 Tbsp salt
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 Tbsp onion powder
- 1/2 Tbsp ground cayenne pepper
Instructions:
When making burgers, we season our ground beef with salt and pepper, (1 tsp salt to each pound of ground beef), form our patties larger than our buns to allow for shrinkage and then sprinkled the burger seasoning on both sides before throwing on the grill.
