Italian Ground Beef Stroganoff
This shortcut beef stroganoff recipe is made with ground beef and is creamy, savory, and absolutely delicious for a quick and easy dinner!

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet dry Italian dressing mix
- 1 cup water
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (can sub cream of chicken)
- 1 cup sour cream
Crumble the ground beef in to a large skillet and sprinkle with the dry dressing mix. Cook on high until browned and cooked through.
In a bowl, whisk together the water and cream of mushroom soup.
Add the soup mixture in to the skillet, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Stir in the sour cream, let it come to a simmer again, then serve!
Serve over egg noodles, mashed potatoes or rice. (I love mine tossed with egg noodles and peas!)
