1/2 to 3/4cupsugar(depending how sweet you want it)

Instructions
Peel and core apples then chop in to small chunks.
Add the apples, lemon juice, water and sugar to a large saucepan and bring to a boil.
Reduce to a simmer and cook 15 minutes, stirring as needed.
Add the cinnamon and nutmeg and cook an additional 10 minutes or until the apples are super soft.
You can use a potato masher to crush it up or I used my immersion blender to blend up about half of the sauce to a more fine consistency and left the rest chunky. (I like texture!) Feel free to blend or mash to the consistency you prefer.
