8ozbacon, cooked up nice and crisp and chopped in to small pieces
1cupsour cream
1cupmayo
2cupssharp cheddar cheese
1tsp dry ranch dressing mix(I use Hidden Valley Ranch)
1/2tspgarlic powder
1/2tspdry mustard powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
4dashes hot sauce
4green onions, finely chopped
4Tbspfresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
Cook your bacon first – let it get nice and crisp, then drain off all the fat and put the pieces on a paper towel to cool while you mix up the other ingredients.
In a mixing bowl, add the sour cream, mayo, cheese, dry ranch dressing mix, garlic powder, dry mustard powder, black pepper, hot sauce, green onions and parsley and combine well.
Once the bacon is cool, add it to the dip and stir to combine.
Refrigerate dip at least an hour before serving it.
Notes
Serve with Chicken in a Biskit crackers, other crackers, tortilla chips, or crusty bread!
