Ingredients

  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp canola oil
  • Juice of a lemon (can add zest!) or 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 3 tsp ginger
  • 1 Tbsp dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • A pinch of ground cayenne pepper
  • 2 lb petite sirloin steak (or you can use your favorite cut)

Instructions

  • Measure and combine all the ingredients (except the meat) together in a storage sized Ziploc bag, (check out my favorite bag holders for prep), close, then shake and squeeze until all combined.
  • Throw in the meat and squish it all around. Allow to sit for at least an hour on the counter, or up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Grill the meat on high heat, (discard the remaining marinade), until desired doneness, (we pull ours off when it hits 140 degrees with an instant read thermometer as we like ours medium.)
  • Remove from the grill, place the meat on a baking tray and tent with foil for 10 minutes before serving.
