Ingredients

  • 3-4 lb beef roast (I like rump but will use whatever I have on hand)
  • 40 oz beef broth
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 4 Tbsp dry beefy onion soup mix
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Instructions

  • Mix the Worcestershire sauce in to the beef broth.
  • Place the roast in the slow cooker and pour the beef broth mixture around it.
  • Rub the garlic in to the top of the roast.
  • Sprinkle the onion soup mix and oregano on top and cook in your slow cooker for 8 hours on low.
  • When the roast is fork tender, pull apart with two forks and serve in crusty rolls. Serve the au jus on the side to dip the sandwiches in.

Notes

I serve on crusty rolls with dijon mustard, shredded cheese (I love gruyere) and caramelized onions!
