  • Set out all of the ingredients on a table and let the kids go to work creating their Spring or Easter treats!

Notes

A couple of tips for this recipe:
  • The more colors you have on the table, the more festive and fun this will be.  Who doesn't have a store of sprinkles in the house?  If you don't, I love these sets.
  • To make the colored coconut, just place some sweetened coconut in a bowl, add a few drops of food coloring, (the gel drops are my fav), and stir and mash around with a fork until well combined!  You can make any color you like!
  • Store bought frosting is perfect for this activity.  Spread the cookie or pretzel with frosting then press it in to the colored coconut for cute results!
  • Add sprinkles, marshmallows, and other candies to the table to let the kids create their own designs!  Easter colored M&M's for flowers and nests, Reese's Pieces for the chicks noses, sugar pearls for the small flowers, and you always need edible eyes for fun.  Be creative!
