Ingredients

  • 2 8oz cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 8-12 slices deli ham
  • 12 slices provolone cheese I love the smoked
  • 40 rounds thin sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Kraft creamy melt mozzarella

Honey Mustard Butter Mixture:

  • 1/2 cup melted margerine or butter
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Spray 9x13 glass casserole dish with non stick spray
  • Open one tube of dough unroll flat and pinch together all the seams
  • Sprinkle with half the Italian seasoning
  • Layer half the ham, leaving about 3/4-1' space each end of the dough
  • Layer half the provolone cheese over the ham
  • Place half the pepperoni in four rows of 5, equally spaced
  • Sprinkle with half the shredded mozzarella and cheddar
  • Carefully roll from the short end, sealing any cracks as you go and sealing the last end to the roll when it's done
  • Slice the roll in to six pieces
  • Repeat with the other can of dough and the other half of the ingredients - you will have 12 rolls total
  • Place rolls equally spaced in 4 rows of 3 in prepared pan
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the melted margarine, dijon mustard, honey, poppy seeds, onion powder and Worcestershire sauce
  • Spoon the butter mixture over the top of each roll
  • Bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes

Notes

A couple of tips for this recipe:
  • You can use any thinly sliced deli meat you like for this.  How big the slices are will determine how many you need.  You want the crescent dough covered other than about 3/4-1 inch top and bottom so you can seal it easily.
  • You can use any deli cheese too - I love the smoked provolone and it melts beautifully, but feel free to switch it up!
  • You don't need to use fancy expensive brands for this recipe.  I used Great Value Brand ingredients for most of this list, (except the creamy melt mozzarella - if you know me and have made my recipes, you know I recommend Kraft Creamy Melt shredded mozzarella as it has a touch of cream cheese in it and melts much nicer than any other brand I have tried for that ooey gooey wow factor!
