Ingredients
1cup+ 1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1/4cupunsweetened cocoa powder
1tspbaking powder
1/4tspsalt
8ouncessemi-sweet chocolate, chopped (to be melted)
2large eggs
1tspvanilla extract
5Tbspbutter, softened to room temperature
3/4cuplight brown sugar
1/4cupgranulated sugar
2cupspeanut butter chips
Instructions
In a medium bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt, then set that bowl aside.
Place your semi-sweet chocolate in a separate bowl and place in the microwave for about 1 minute on high. Stir, then continue to melt in 30 second increments until fully melted and smooth. Set that bowl aside.
In yet another small bowl, whisk the eggs and vanilla together and set that bowl aside.
In your mixer bowl, beat the butter and sugars together for about 3 minutes.
Mix in the egg and vanilla mixture, then pour in the melted chocolate slowly while the mixer is mixing until all combined.
Add the flour mixture and mix on slow speed until just combined, then mix in the peanut butter chips.
Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 350.
We made the cazookies in three inch skillets and ramekins and they took about 15 minutes to cook at 350. (We filled about half with cookie dough… the dough will rise while it cooks.) If you use a smaller ramekin then it will take less time. Start checking at 10 minutes!
Remove from oven and serve hot with ice cream and sauce!
