Chocolate Peanut Butter Cazookie or Pizookie. Cookie dough cooked in a small skillet so it's soft and gooey in the center and just cooked around the edges!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup + 1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped (to be melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 5 Tbsp butter, softened to room temperature
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups peanut butter chips

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt, then set that bowl aside.
  • Place your semi-sweet chocolate in a separate bowl and place in the microwave for about 1 minute on high. Stir, then continue to melt in 30 second increments until fully melted and smooth. Set that bowl aside.
  • In yet another small bowl, whisk the eggs and vanilla together and set that bowl aside.
  • In your mixer bowl, beat the butter and sugars together for about 3 minutes.
  • Mix in the egg and vanilla mixture, then pour in the melted chocolate slowly while the mixer is mixing until all combined.
  • Add the flour mixture and mix on slow speed until just combined, then mix in the peanut butter chips.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  • When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 350.
  • We made the cazookies in three inch skillets and ramekins and they took about 15 minutes to cook at 350. (We filled about half with cookie dough… the dough will rise while it cooks.) If you use a smaller ramekin then it will take less time. Start checking at 10 minutes!
  • Remove from oven and serve hot with ice cream and sauce!
