Ingredients

  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups peanuts (salted)
  • Maldon sea salt flakes

Instructions

  • In a non-stick large saucepan, add the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk and melt over medium heat until it’s smooth.
  • Remove from heat, stir in the vanilla, then stir in the peanuts.
  • Scoop the mixture on to a waxed paper lined baking sheet using a small cookie scoop. If you want, sprinkle with a little Malden sea salt at this point to give them a little extra little bit of fancy, (optional, but FABULOUS.)
  • Let them completely cool and set, then transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate until firm – at least two hours, then serve! (Note, these are best stored in the refrigerator.)

Notes

Variation Tip:  You can use semi-sweet OR dark chocolate chips for these!  (Milk chocolate chips would work too, but would definitely be a lot sweeter.)  Also, try switching the peanuts for pecans, walnuts, cashews or macadamia nuts!  You could even add a 1/2 tsp of almond extract for a boost of flavor.  There are so many combinations you can enjoy!
